  1. Conditions Of Supply

  4. 1) Once we have supplied the software we cannot take it back if you do not
  5.    like the program or change your mind, nor can we give support to any
  6.    problems which occur, this must come from the publisher concerned.
  7. 2) All disks are guaranteed to be readable and the programs in our library
  8.    are guaranteed not to be misrepresented by us. The software is supplied
  9.    "as is" and no claims are made as to the suitability of a particular 
  10.    program for any given purpose. The purchaser of any disk undertakes to
  11.    agree that the maximum liability we hold is the price paid for the disk,
  12.    howsoever the damage may be caused or to what extent.
  13. 3) With regard to the shareware disk, we charge for the service of providing 
  14.    the software from our library, not for the software license which must be 
  15.    paid for separately to the appropriate author. Shareware disks are not 
  16.    usually refunded unless there are serious bugs found or our description
  17.    is misleading.

  20. How Do I Order ?
  21. ----------------

  23. You may pay by cheque, cash, postal order or International Money Order. We do 
  24. recommend cheque or International Money Order as the safest way to pay. 
  25. Take a print-out of the Order Form by pressing F9 at the main menu. Please 
  26. make cheques, postal orders and International Money Order's payable to : 
  27. "D.A.HUNT". Please allow 3-5 days for cheque or Money Order clearance from 
  28. the date we receive your order.

  30. On receipt of your order, we will despatch the disks within 24 hours for cash 
  31. and postal order payments and 3-5 days for cheque and Money Order payments. 
  32. Our charges are £1.50 per disk, not per program (If a program has 2 disks, you 
  33. will be charged £3.00). All programs are 1 disk unless otherwise specified in
  34. brackets after the shareware title. e.g. Drum Blaster (2), this program has
  35. two disks.
  36. The most recent version of your chosen software will be despatched, which in 
  37. some cases will increase the number of disks, and we reserve the right to 
  38. increase your order accordingly. All disks will be sent by First Class 
  39. Recorded Delivery for the U.K. and International Recorded Delivery for Europe
  40. and the Rest Of The World so please supply an address where some-one can sign 
  41. for the goods.

  44. The Shareware Concept Explained

  47. Shareware is a "try-before-you-buy" marketing method. Authors of software,
  48. license disk vendors, like ourselves, to include their fully working software
  49. in our library. We charge you, the customer, a modest handling and copying
  50. fee per disk to supply you with a copy of the software. No part of that fee
  51. goes to the author. After a given evaluation period, you will be required to
  52. either cease using the software or pay the license (registration) fee to 
  53. the author. We receive no part of the registration fee.
